A recent move to Cumbria has provided Antony with the opportunity to explore an unfamiliar environment and continue to develop his ideas with reference to humankind’s innate relationship with the natural world and our association with the contemporary landscape.

A desire to understand is fundamental to his work, the photographs Antony makes are a record of this awareness as much as they are a record of any place or moment.

Since graduating from University College Falmouth in 2009 with a First Class, BA (Honours) in Photography, Antony has in cooperation, developed his practice as both artist and curator. Working with TestBed, Oriel Davies Gallery, Antony has presented a programme of innovative projects by Welsh Artists including, Dawn Wolley, Sarah Hughes and Patrick Farmer, Jonathan Anderson, Anne-Mie Melis and Collaboration I:I (Jones:Higlett)

Building on this experience Antony now finds himself working as Arts Development Assistant for the Forestry Commission at Grizedale and is currently collaborating with Artist Melissa Hinkin on a blog and zine.

Where do we go to be healed?
